Why Halo exists
It started with the call I'll never forget.
My mother had Type 2 diabetes. One afternoon she was home alone — I was away at school and my dad was at work. When the paramedics reached her, they had no way of knowing about her condition. They lost time they didn't have, and we lost her.
I built Halo so no other family learns the way I did how much can ride on a few seconds. A medical ID on her wrist could have told them what they needed to know the instant they walked in. That's the whole reason this exists — so the people you love are never a mystery in the moment that matters most.

Why a wrist ID
In an emergency, seconds decide everything.
When you can't answer for yourself, responders look for one thing first — a medical ID on your wrist or neck. A card in your wallet won't be found in time.
First responders are trained to look at the wrist and neck for a medical ID before treatment.
No screen to unlock, no wallet to dig through. The engraving is right there.
Knowing the condition up front helps responders avoid treatment that could do harm.
Questions, answered
Still unsure? Here's what families ask most.
How does Halo work?
Your bracelet is laser-engraved with your name, condition, and the Star of Life, and it's linked to your private Halo profile. In an emergency, a responder can scan the bracelet or enter its ID and PIN at app.wearhalo.co to see the medical info you chose to share.
What gets engraved on the bracelet?
Your full name, your medical condition, the internationally recognized Star of Life symbol, and your bracelet's site and ID so responders know where to look. You enter your name and condition when you order.
Will it fit me?
Halo is one size, designed to fit most adult wrists comfortably.
Do I have to make a profile?
No. The engraving alone identifies you and your condition instantly — no phone, no battery, no account needed. The profile simply adds a deeper layer: your full profile, alerts, and emergency contacts for when responders need more than what's on the plate.
What's the difference between Basic and Plus?
Basic is free forever and shares the essentials — your name, blood type, one emergency contact, and a vital condition. Plus adds a text alert with the time and location whenever your info is opened, lets responders notify your contacts, allows up to 5 emergency contacts, document uploads, share links, and more.
How does the free trial work?
Every bracelet comes with a 30-day free trial of Plus. You won't be charged during the trial, and you can cancel anytime before it ends to stay on the free Basic plan. After the trial, Plus is $4.99/month or $49.99/year.
Can I cancel Plus anytime?
Yes. You can cancel in your account at any time. If you cancel, you keep the free Basic plan and your bracelet keeps working — you just lose the Plus features.
Who can see my medical information?
Only what you choose to make visible, and only with your bracelet's ID and PIN. You decide field by field what's shared in an emergency versus what stays private in your account.
What if my bracelet is lost or stolen?
You can report it lost in your account, which immediately disables emergency access from that bracelet so no one can use it to view your info.
Is it waterproof?
The plate is surgical-grade steel, but we recommend taking it off before swimming or showering to protect the beads and finish over time.
Is my data secure?
Your medical profile is private to your account and only revealed through your bracelet's ID and PIN, with access controlled by you. We take our customers privacy very seriously.
Can I return it?
Because each bracelet is custom laser-engraved just for you, it's made to order and can't be returned. Please double-check your engraving before you order.
